Her precursor victories and Pluribus’s broad Emmy strength give Seehorn the clearest path, so her Drama Actress win is highly likely.

Seehorn is highly likely to win after securing major acting precursors, leading late assessments and benefiting from broad Emmy support for Pluribus. Keri Russell remains the credible upset path after defeating Seehorn at an actor-voted precursor, but that threat does not outweigh the evidence favoring Seehorn.

Points to YES

Late pre-ceremony coverage places Seehorn at the center of the category and selects her to win.
On September 12, The Guardian predicted Seehorn would win lead actress in a drama for Pluribus.
Seehorn has already won two prominent acting precursors this year.
On September 10, Scott Feinberg reported that Seehorn had won the 2026 Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards.
Pluribus has demonstrated support across Emmy branches, strengthening Seehorn’s candidacy.
On September 6, Pluribus won four early Emmys for music, production design, editing and sound mixing.

Points to NO

Keri Russell has demonstrated direct head-to-head strength against Seehorn.
On September 10, Matthew Byrd noted that Russell had defeated Seehorn at the Actor Awards and remained a genuine contender.
The category retains a credible alternative rather than presenting an uncontested favorite.
On September 12, Christopher Rosen assessed the contest as a race between Seehorn and Russell.
